Give Day 2020: Every Aggie Counts!

Give Day 2020

Thank you for your support on Give Day 2020!

The College of Letters and Science had its most successful Give Day yet on April 17-18, with 403 gifts and raising nearly $400,000. Thank you to our generous donors who came together to support our community during this unprecedented time.

Your Generosity Supports Student Learning In and Out of the Classroom

The College of Letters and Science is the heart of UC Davis. We are ranked No. 3 ranking among U.S. universities “doing the most for the American Dream,” according to The New York Times' College Access Index.

Of course, access is just the first step to ensuring success for our students. Some of the most profound and lasting student experiences happen beyond the classroom, which is why Give Day matters more than ever. The gifts we received will ensure student research and learning continues and unexpected hardship from COVID-19 will be minimized for our students.

Thank you for Helping to Activate Life-Changing Challenge Gifts

Thank you to the generous donors who pledged for our challenge gifts. This year, we unlocked a number of challenges that support COVID-19 student hardship, summer field trips for geology students, music lessons, art materials for design students, summer research funding for history students, ethnic studies, and more.
