LTS 2B: Career Exploration

Course Description: Exploratory for first-year students in the College of Letters and Science, who are undeclared or undecided about their major. Career possibilities through self-reflection and experiential learning. How natural talents, interests, and personality relate to career paths and learn methods to prepare for career opportunities.

Learning Activities: Lecture/Discussion 1 hour(s).

Enrollment Restriction(s): Open to first- and second-year students.

Credit Limitation(s): Not open for credit to students who have taken LTS 002.

Grade Mode: Pass/No Pass only.

LTS 98(10): Career Readiness

Course Description: This course introduces students to the essentials of career readiness and prepares them for in-college professional experiences that can develop into post-graduation career paths. Students will engage in self-assessment, explore professional options, build essential career documents, and practice networking and informational interviewing. The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, professional communication, and goal setting, culminating in a portfolio and final reflection.
