Claire Conlon brings an extensive career in California politics to the UC Davis Government and Public Policy Alumni Group. She most recently served as district director for Dr. Richard Pan, state senator for the Sacramento region. Prior to working with Senator Pan, Ms. Conlon was the press secretary for California Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León and previously served as his legislative aide. Before working in the Capitol, Ms. Conlon was executive director of California Young Democrats, which tripled in size and saw a doubling of its budget under her leadership. She is a proud Women's Empowerment volunteer and on the board of Sababah at Congregation B’nai Israel. Ms. Conlon received her undergraduate degree in political science from UC Davis.
