Bio

Jackson Gualco contributes his extensive public policy and political experience to the UC Davis Government and Public Policy Alumni Group.  He is president of The Gualco Group, Inc., a government relations and public affairs consulting firm based in Sacramento, which represents a wide array of clients from agriculture, business, and the public sector.  Prior to his reentry into the lobbying community, Mr. Gualco served as special assistant to Assembly Speaker Willie Brown, Jr.  He received a Master of Arts degree in pastoral studies from Loyola University, New Orleans, and a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University. Mr. Gualco previously earned a certificate in management from UC Davis, where he received his undergraduate degree in political science – public service.  He also supports UC Davis by contributing his time to the College of Letters and Science Dean’s Advisory Council.  Mr. Gualco is resuming his service on the UC Davis Foundation Board of Trustees on which he previously served.  He is also active with the Mesple Memorial Scholarship and UC Center Sacramento.
