Rosario Cortés Kapeller brings her years of experience to the UC Davis Government and Public Policy Alumni Group. She has held many positions in state government, including assistant executive director for the California Municipal Utilities Association and legislative director to Senator Bob Dutton. Prior to her time with Senator Dutton, she was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to the Department of Parks and Recreation as assistant director of legislation. Mrs. Kapeller has also been a legislative advocate with the law firm of Nossaman, Guthner, Knox and Elliot. Mrs. Kapeller is a graduate of UC Davis, having received an undergraduate degree in community and regional development.
