Bio

Lois Goss joins the College of Letters Science Dean’s Advisory Council as a proud Aggie and first-generation college graduate. Mrs. Goss earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from UC Davis and has made a commitment to give back to the community that helped her succeed. Along with her husband Darryl, she has established the Goss Family Endowment, benefitting the African American and African Studies program, and two undergraduate endowments supporting student athletes and students majoring in African American and African Studies. Currently, they are spearheading a grassroots effort to support the Center for African Diaspora Student Success at UC Davis. Mrs. Goss is an active volunteer with the new Women in Philanthropy chapter at UC Davis and has served on the Dean’s Advisory Council since 2018.
