Minor only
The minor in Iran and Persian Studies allows students to uncover the history of Iran, and contextualize its culture, society, economics, and economics within the region of Western Asia. With an interdisciplinary curriculum, students will enrich students’ knowledge on topics that impact contemporary Iran, including trade, gender relations, immigration, economic development, and socio-political conflicts. Through the minors, students will not only gain cultural knowledge of contemporary or historic Iranian life, but improve their writing skills and critical thinking.
