Course Description: In this seminar we will analyze several policy areas like voter identification laws and racial redistricting.  We will carefully read the political science research in these areas with the goals of understanding the policy and political effects.  Students can expect to become experts in the topics covered along with gaining valuable experience in research and writing about public policy.
