Course Description:
We invite first-generation, first-year students to take our Winter Quarter seminar which dives into career exploration, discovering your passion, and enhancing your skills and professional development. It's designed to help you establish the strong foundation necessary for a highly successful career at UC Davis and beyond.
Topics Include:
- Identifying your passion and choosing a major to pursue it
- Transition to graduate school and/or professional life, including understanding of the expectations, and developing the skills required to meet them
- Professional development, campus resources, and academic/professional planning
