Course Description:

Read Italian Literature! This course travels from contemporary Italian stories like Igiaba Scego’s “Salsicce” to nineteenth-century poetry on the vastness of the universe to Renaissance epic to the dark realms of Dante’s Inferno—all in the original Italian, with focus on building fluency in reading and speaking. TAUGHT IN ITALIAN.
