Stephen is the Student Development and Leadership Program Manager in the College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Education and Advising Office. Stephen has been working for UC Davis since August 2023 in First Year Experience and transitioned into this role February 2026. He holds a B.S.ED in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History and Social Studies and an M.Ed in Counseling with an emphasis in Student Affairs from Northern Arizona University.

 

Stephen is passionate about the impact that Peer Mentoring can have on the college experience. As a First-Generation College Student, Stephen dealt with his own struggles in the transition to college and experienced the support from his own Peer Mentors through his college journey. Stephen believes in the holistic support and development of students academically, personally, and professionally.

 

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys reading, biking, playing video games, and spending time with his two dogs.
