Academic Advisor
- Undergraduate Education and Advising
Alfonso Trejo joined the College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Education and Advising Office as an Academic Advisor in 2024.
Originally from Southern California, Alfonso came to UC Davis in 2014 as an undergraduate first-generation college student majoring in Economics and Philosophy with a minor in Chicanx studies. He returned to the UC Davis campus in 2021 as part of the Orange Cluster advising team working with the Linguistics, Communication, and Political Science Department. Before advising at UC Davis, Alfonso worked for college equity programs such as TRIO and College Track, helping other first-generation and underrepresented minority students pursue their higher education goals.
As an advisor, Alfonso enjoys helping students navigate their unique journey at UC Davis. He looks to serve as a thought partner, guiding students through the rigors of college and serving as a bridge to other campus resources.
Outside of work, Alfonso enjoys hiking, participating in ultra trail races, watching movies/TV, and spending time with friends and family.
