Sadalia King brings her knowledge as a Sacramento native to the UC Davis Government and Public Policy Alumni Group. She currently serves as a legislative and communications aide for the California State Senate President pro Tempore Toni G. Atkins where she assists in managing press, develops messaging for various policy areas,  and staffs bills focused on public safety.

Ms. King is a founding board member and current president of Black Young Democrats of Sacramento and a board member of the Sacramento chapter of the New Leaders Council. She is also a proud, finer woman of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. She received an undergraduate degree in sociology with an emphasis in law and society, and a minor in African American and African studies, from UC Davis.
