The Environmental Geology minor examines the multidisciplinary factors of geology and related earth science fields, in addition to planning and resource-oriented programs. Environmental geologists apply geological techniques in order to create and continuously improve a sustainable relationship between people and the environment, focusing on the environmental impact of human activities, pollution, and resource management. Environmental Geology students are able to pursue careers in environmental geologists and engineers, or apply their knowledge of environmental consciousness in any industry.
