Member, Dean's Advisory Council
Recognized as a leader firmly committed to strategic growth, Bret Hewitt contributes his knowledge and experience to the College of Letters & Science Dean’s Advisory Council. Mr. Hewitt currently serves as executive director of Tuleyome, a nonprofit conservation organization based in Woodland most noted for working to establish and protect the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument. Prior to his work in the nonprofit sector, Mr. Hewitt held a position as part of the management team at Cambridge Associates, a global investment consulting firm, for 18 years. He received three degrees: Bachelor of Arts in political science–public service and mass communication from UC Davis, a Master of Arts in political science and state politics and policy from UC Davis, and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University. Mr. Hewitt joined the Dean’s Advisory Council in 2006 and served as chair from 2010 to 2013.
