Lourdes Jimenez brings her passion for inclusive public policy, building stronger communications between people and their government, and mentoring people entering politics to the UC Davis Government and Public Policy Alumni Group. She currently serves as state governmental affairs manager for Sempra Energy. As former chief of staff to Assemblymember Freddie Rodriguez, she led a dynamic team focused on solving complex issues while serving the needs of California’s 52nd Assembly District and the greater Inland Empire. Ms. Jimenez has worked across the state, from Sacramento to San Diego, on a wide variety of issues including K-12 education, public safety, renewable energy, and beyond. She graduated from UC Davis with an undergraduate degree in psychology.
