Nancy has worked as an undergrad advisor on the UC Davis campus since 1999, starting in the Math Department, then moving into Electrical & Computer Engineering and the Engineering Undergraduate Office, before moving into Letters & Science in 2022.  She has had a lot of opportunities to work with first generation and low-income students, as well as international students.  Having lived overseas in multiple countries helps her to consider other ways of looking at situations.

Nancy enjoys working with students and seeing them find the path that is best for them.  Her favorite memories are seeing students who struggled then walk across the stage at commencement, proving that they had it in them to succeed.

Outside of work, Nancy enjoys reading and being out in nature, as well as spending time with her three grandchildren.
