Lauren Wong is the interim coordinator for student leadership and development and an academic advisor for the College of Letters & Science. She holds a B.A. in Sociology and Psychology from UC Davis.

 

Before joining the College of Letters & Science, Lauren was an undergraduate advisor for the Languages & Literatures Department at UC Davis. Her passion for advising started when she served as an academic peer advisor for the Sociology Department on campus.

 

As an advocate of care and equity, Lauren enjoys working with students in higher education and encouraging them to persevere. She loves discussing the power of transferable skills and experiential learning opportunities. 

 

Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys drinking coffee and kombucha at new cafes, exploring Trader Joe's, and cooking for her friends and family.
