Erin joined the College of Letters and Science as an academic advisor in March 2023 after spending seven years advising student-athletes in Intercollegiate Athletics. Erin began her career at UC Davis advising prospective students in Undergraduate Admissions. Erin then advised undergraduate students in the Department of Economics before moving into graduate student advising in the College of Biological Sciences (CBS). Erin was a founding member of the Biology Academic Success Center where she advised undergraduate students in CBS.
A first-generation college student, Erin graduated from UC San Diego with a B.A. in History. She also attended Sacramento State and graduated with an M.A. in Public History.
Erin values her interactions with students and appreciates being a part of their educational journey. She takes a holistic approach to advising, factoring the whole of students’ experience into advising interactions.
Outside of the office, Erin enjoys spending time with her Golden Retriever Lucy, reading, cheering on the Aggies at athletic events, visiting her hometown of Santa Cruz, California, and hanging out with her nephews in Eugene, Oregon, and Hilo, Hawaii.
